  • A functional windmill since 1630 and restored by an association, now municipal property. The only windmill that makes flour in any kind of weather. Observation of the differences of 12 woods, 9 cereals and the history of the mill’s renovation.

    The oldest beams of this windmill date from 1630. It was moved to the current site at the end of the 19th Century and operated until 1947. Left to abandon, it became a ruin of a tower which the association restored. Municipal property, this monument benefited from labour provided by AFPA in the reconstruction of the roofing and its mechanical workings. Its roof can be oriented, its sails turn and it grinds flour once again. For children: making flour, separation of the bran from the flour, observing the differences in wood and 9 cereals, the origins of the winds…
