  • Lobster, lion, elephant...This isn’t a circus, but a fabulous museum where you can discover incredible objects collected during the travels of Georges Labit.

The Moorish villa built in the heart of a garden planted with Asiatic and Mediterranean plant species is worth the visit alone, but once you push open the door you gain access to one of the most beautiful French collections of oriental art.

This fund, gathered by collector Georges Labit, has belonged to the city of Toulouse since 1912, who has added Egyptian and Oriental antiquities.

A real Egyptian mummy sits alongside delicate Japanese prints: this visit promises eclectic treats that transport you to another place!

For a more concrete approach, workshops are available for adults and children throughout the year: modelling, Japanese cuisine, origami, calligraphy, discovering the tea ceremony...
